At YES, we place great emphasis on giving our students the foundation and tools necessary to succeed in all areas of life. This extends well beyond providing textual knowledge to promote the highest ideals in ethical and moral behavior essential to complete character development. Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s northwest side, YES serves as a key component in the stability of our racially integrated Sherman Park neighborhood. Our presence contributes to the growth and momentum of our community with increased property values and neighborhood harmony. The active participation of YES families in the Sherman Park community adds to the area’s diversity and creates an energized neighborhood. Recognizing this, our many partners throughout the community appreciate the value YES brings to our immediate neighborhood and the city. Beyond the generous support we receive from individuals, YES benefits greatly from relationships with many community foundations as well as those in the corporate sector. When we feel admiration, or fondness for another person, a family member or friend, we are naturally excited to share these sentiments. We say, “Let me tell you about my friend …let me tell you about a very special person …” We are anxious to express our feelings and hope the listener will also appreciate this special individual. We might even feel so strongly we say, “I want to introduce you to a very special person”. This is how we feel about our Yeshiva Elementary School. We are eager to share our pride in YES with others, creating an ever widening circle of friends who will also want to participate in our sacred cause. I personally invite you to come tour our school to see for yourselves what we are accomplishing at Yeshiva Elementary School. The sights and sounds of life and learning within our building will speak for themselves and move those who visit.
