Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) is committed to being the very best that we can be. Our longstanding accreditation record through the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) is proof of this commitment to excellence. One’s strengths can often been seen through the eyes of others. In December of 2008, YES hosted an NCA CASI team as part of our reaccreditation process; the team reported the following:The Quality Assurance Review (QAR) team commends Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) for its pride in the school, staff, and program. Faculty, students, parents, support staff and leaders define Yeshiva Elementary School as a “family” that supports and develops its members in not only the Judaic Tradition, but in academics as well.In order to focus on student achievement, YES tests 4th grade and 8th grade students on the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE), a statewide exam used in Wisconsin public schools. In 2008, 100 percent of our fourth grade students scored proficient or advanced in reading, while 94 percent scored proficient or advanced in both language arts and math. At YES we offer a quality secular education to our students. |
